Oven Gloves

Having just returned from a holiday in a beautiful rented property, the one thing we really needed and didn't have were oven gloves (an oven mitt).

It is such a silly, small thing not to have but was a real inconvenience when we were cooking.

Having nearly burnt myself when using a drying-up cloth as a substitute we ended up buying them ourselves in a local shop.

You are absolutely right Angela.

It is a small thing and one that would only cost a very small amount of money but oven gloves are exactly the kind of thing that get overlooked when equipping a vacation property.
