My Turquoise Bathroom

by Kathy
(Sheboygan, WI, USA)

Monochromatic Turquoise

Monochromatic Turquoise

To make a small bathroom look bigger, try painting it a cool, solid color.

Busy wallpaper seems to fill up the space. Keeping surfaces clear of toiletries and decorations also opens up the room and makes it look bigger.

Last year I redid my bathroom, getting rid of pink wallpaper and turquoise blue accents. I painted the walls and the clawfoot tub turquoise blue. The lower part of the walls and all the wood trim is white, and all the towels are turquoise.

I love the new color - it gives it a clean and open look.
